Algebra I

Today we had a review for the quiz tomorrow on sections 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 and 2-4. The students should have a list of problems and the answers to them to study tonight. Good luck on the quiz!!

In class today we went over the first section of Chapter 2, which is on Rational Numbers. A rational number is a number that can be written as a/b, where a and b are integers. The set of integers are all of the positive whole numbers, zero, and all of the negative whole numbers.

Tomorrow in class I will be handing out the vocabulary words for the third vocabulary quiz, which will be on Tuesday, September 18th. The vocabulary words will be the highlighted words in sections, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 and 2-4.

Today we were able to hand out Algebra I books to all of my classes. Now you the student can do homework, classwork and study for tests and quizzes using your own book!

In the future I will be posting to this blog to update what we are doing during each week and in some case each day. Currently we are starting the second chapter our Algebra book. This chapter is on real numbers.
